Open your browser and navigate to hostinger.com. Click the Log In button at the top right. Enter your registered email and password, then click Log In. You’ll be taken directly to the hPanel dashboard.

You can also go directly to hpanel.hostinger.com — Hostinger’s control panel where all your hosting tools are centralized.

After logging in, you’ll land on the hPanel home screen. In the left sidebar, click on Websites. You’ll see a list of your active hosting plans with your domains. Click the Dashboard button next to the hosting plan where you want WordPress installed.

hPanel is Hostinger’s custom-built control panel — it’s clean, fast, and built specifically for beginners with all website management tools in one place.

Inside your hosting Dashboard, look at the left sidebar and find the Website section. Click Auto Installer. On the next screen, a list of installable applications will appear — find WordPress and click Select to begin the setup wizard.

The Auto Installer presents a setup form. Fill in each field carefully:

• Website Title: The name of your site (e.g., “My Travel Blog” or “Smith Photography”)
• Administrator Username: Your WordPress login name — keep it unique and not “admin”
• Administrator Password: A strong password with uppercase, numbers, and symbols
• Administrator Email: Your email — used for notifications and password recovery
• Language: Your preferred WordPress admin interface language
• Domain: Select the domain to install WordPress on from the dropdown

Review all your details one final time, then click the Install button. Hostinger will now automatically handle everything — creating the MySQL database, uploading WordPress core files, and configuring your wp-config.php settings.

The process takes between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. A progress bar will appear — do not close the browser tab. Once complete, a success confirmation screen will show with a direct link to your new WordPress admin panel.

Open a new browser tab and navigate to your WordPress admin panel using this URL:

Log in using the administrator username and password you set in Step 4. You are now inside the WordPress Dashboard — from here you can create posts, install themes and plugins, manage pages, and control every aspect of your website.

WordPress is installed — now make your site look amazing! Here’s your post-installation checklist:

1. Go to Appearance → Themes and pick a free theme or upload a premium one
2. Install LiteSpeed Cache — Hostinger’s recommended plugin for blazing-fast load speeds
3. Add Yoast SEO to optimize every page and post for Google rankings
4. Install Wordfence Security for firewall protection and malware scanning
5. Create your key pages: Home, About, Blog, and Contact
6. Write your very first blog post and hit Publish! 🎉
